Our special printing process uses two separate extruders. Besides the traditional thermoplastic printing head, our second composite extruder has two more inputs: one for the reinforcing fibre and the other for composite filament. Reinforcing fibre and composite filament will be printed through the same nozzle. The advantage of our setup enables us to vary fibre volume ratio and lay it by complex curvilinear trajectories. Thus, it's possible to print composite parts of complex shapes with reinforced lattice inner structure: use minimum material for required strength that means minimum weight, production time and price.
